It's a great place to hang out with friends and family

For 40 dollars I managed to get a small bowl of gator bites, which are little pop corn chicken sized pieces of meat. And a single steak kabob with three similarly sized pieces of steak on it. Overpriced! The first time I have ever went into a restaurant, spent three times the amount I would for lunch, and leave wishing I’d rather went through the drive through at the nearest Burger King! At least when I leave the fast food joint I don’t have a rumble in my stomach. Terrible. Simply terrible.The service was dreadfully slow, to the point that the group of three I was with didn’t manage to leave until an hour and twenty minutes after placing our order. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking to eat a decent meal. They are much more interested in serving drinks than providing food.

Had blackened chicken Caesar salad and a Pink Pelican. Both were delicious. Service was terrific. Great place for a relaxing kick-back evening

you come for the atmosphere and great tasting seafood!! at night it is more of a bar feel on weekends with the band playing but great place to relax and watch the scenery or the games on TV

The food has increased in quality and speed over the past couple of years. The drinks are always good. But the best thing about this place is the view. The water front deck is huge and awesome to sit and watch a sunset at. The dock is great too during the summer we always park the boat here for a quick drink and a snack.

I felt safe and happy dining here! Thank you Pelican Cove for having the best patio, great food and cocktails and awesome live entertainment

I will never come back here to eat at Pelican Cove...Fish taco with a piece of fish and melted cheese....Seriously??!! No lettuce, no tomato....appetizers did not come until our meal. You must be kidding...HAIR WRAPPED AROUND THE HUSH PUPPY!@@!

So-called “Ribeye” sandwich was (for $15) a low grade cut, not even sliced, and over cooked. No warning that steamed veggies would come with butter sauce. Worst of all there are no smoking signs everywhere and there were several people smoking. It’s illegal to smoke in public places in Ridgeland. NOT a place for kids. If restauranteurs can’t even follow their own no-smoking signs, who is to say they follow signs to wash their hands ? What a joke. At least fifty no smoking signs all over the walls. Its 2020 and that stuff is harmful. Shaggy’s is a better option.

This place has got it going on! Great environment with live music and a water front view. The grilled shrimp had an awesome in-house seasoning and the potato salad gets 5 stars! I grew up Dutch country PA and their tater salad is top notch (not too tangy & bacon infused). There are several rooms and a bar with seating. This spot is great for couples, families, or group events.

Great atmosphere. Nice out door seating. Live music after 6pm on the weekend. Not sure about during the week. Great frozen drinks.

I ordered a seafood pasta the same time as my family, they got theirs within 10 minutes while we waited an hour on mine. They then told us one hour later that they had shut down the kitchen and taken my order off. Would not recommend if you actually want to eat.

Loved the atmosphere and the view of the water.

Food is pretty average, and often times wait on good can be rather long, so not a great place to go if you are really hungry, but they do have a nice view of the reservoir from there and the love music gives this place s great vibe to hang out and grab a drink with friends.

My visit was pretty good. The good was delicious and service was okay. They were extremely busy but moved swiftly as possible. I will recommend anyone to stop by for a visit. It's off the water with a live band. Very nice!

I came to eat here for my birthday with my family and friends and everybody got their food within 20 minutes except me because 2 hours later they told us the kitchen shut down and cancelled my order

Very nice atmosphere. Right on the water. Boats can dock and place orders and they have live entertainment. Food was great!

It was nice being able to bring my service dog. I was with a guy who started pretty early with alcohol so our visit was short lived. Pretty expensive joint considering what we ordered but I guess that can b expected bc it's the reservoir

We love Pelican, to be sure! The staff is friendly and fun, the live music is always fantastic, and the food is great. Start with a signature Pink Pelican, and you're in for a fun afternoon! Get the shrimp basket!

Live music is very nice and the food is good. Service in unbelievably fast and it is very clean. You can buy fish food to throw at the fishes while you wait. The catfish is heavenly Amazing and that you should try it for your next meal.

Been wanting to try it for a long time. So, I visited for the first time this past weekend. Total mistake and disappointment! Quality (low) and portion (small) and price (high) of food do not match; unclean restroom; server was lousy; atmosphere not good. Total waste of my time and money. This is one of the worst restaurants I have visited in a while. I definitely will NOT return.

Checkout my photos. This place is a joke. Everything is overpriced. I ordered an $8.50 Andy gator. It took us forever to even get service, and then I ordered the worst catfish I've ever had. Zero flavor in the batter, and it's advertised as a "generous portion" of catfish. This place is completely mediocre with horrible service. Checkout my photos. One is that "generous portion" and the other is their description on the menu. Two thumbs way down.

Great atmosphere, great service, the food is to die for, especially the jumbo fried shrimp, everything I've ever ate there was awesome. try the ribs! The live country band (free) will make you think your'e listening to the likes Willie Nelson, The Oakridge Boys (you can guess my age from the singers and bands I name) Great for family outings. The hostesses are worth their weight in gold! Happy eating!

Great happy hour, great views of the reservoir, great Titis and strawberry menu drink. I love the food, the live bands, the other customers are always fun to watch and again, the featured titos and strawberry menu drink, eemmmmm!

live music outdoor deck over the water and you can rent a boat where u are sitting and hit the water.

They were supposed vusy, No social distancing in seating but the waitress was very nice and the food was good. I will go back after Covid 19.

Great atmosphere on the deck! There is not a better place in the metro to enjoy the rez on a nice sunny day with a cold beverage and the Santa Fe Egg Rolls!

We loved the atmosphere, our server was good, the food was delicious. Our only issue was the food took forever to come. It wasn't busy either.
